Sawyer von Liebestag is a beautiful 10 month old classic
looking German Shepherd. He hasn't had much experience in life and needs someone to show him that life and people are good. As soon as Sawyer was taken outside the shelter, he buried his head in our volunteer's lap and followed him wherever he went. Sawyer has a beautiful gait much like you see in show dogs. He responds well to positive guidance and takes treats nicely. He is a sensitive young boy who wants to do right by his person. He’s the kind of dog that will pay you back ten-fold. Sawyer has been in our boarding care for just a short while and is already showing signs of improved confidence. It is here, that he is getting socialized with both dogs and people, but Sawyer would flourish with someone (adopter or foster) who will spend the time to nurture his tender soul and turn his shyness into self-assurance. Sawyer will make a wonderful companion dog and will bond quickly to his new loving owner.
